We offer seven charming cottages. These lovely private, air conditioned accommodations are located on the hill behind our Historic Mansion and have spectacular views of the mountains around Moosehead Lake. They are surrounded by meadows and woods so our guests are sometimes treated to a family of deer grazing nearby.
These private, spacious (450 sq. ft.) cottages (Cottages 3, 4, 5, & 6) provide our guests with fabulous panoramic views. The architecture of these cottages offers wood ceilings and walls, which add to the comfortable décor. Each cottage has a unique armoire with a TV, which can be viewed from the queen/king bed or the sitting area (some with Fireplaces). Each large private bathroom has a towel warmer for those chilly mornings. There is even a walk-in closet for those extended stays. FREE WIFI.
Cottage 1 and Cottage 2 are true north woods rustic cabins nestled in the back corner of our property and can accommodate a family of up to four with cots as needed! Each has its own en-suite bathroom; heat; queen bed and nice cots as needed; and a private porch with a view of the mountains. FREE WIFI in mansion.
Our newest private cottage is The Pine Cone Cottage. This spacious cottage is a year round accommodation with 2 queen beds, 2 winged-back chairs, a sofa and a large en-suite bathroom. This unique accommodation also has its own private porch with remarkable views and a private parking area. The 40" HGTV/DVD can be viewed from both beds and the comfortable sitting area. This cottage is perfect for a family or friends traveling together.
